GENERAL EVENT QUESTIONS

 

What is Hispanicize Texas? 

Hispanicize Texas was created to empower and engage digital creators in the Lone Star State, one of the largest markets in the nation for multicultural digital influencers. In addition to the dedicated creators’ track, Hispanicize Texas will also feature a full slate of sessions devoted to entrepreneurship and cultural themes that touch marketing, journalism, and leadership.

 

Where is Hispanicize Texas being held?

Hispanicize Texas will take place at in Silver Street Studios located at SAWYER YARDS, an industrial redevelopment project in between downtown and the historic Heights neighborhood. The venue is best known for the over 70 artist studios that act as the heart of creativity for Houston’s north end. 

 

Who can attend Hispanicize Texas?

As for all of our events, Hispanicize is open to multicultural digital creators, creative entrepreneurs, journalists and community leaders. Attendees at our Miami and Los Angeles events typically include top national thought leaders from a variety of sectors including brand marketers, Latino and multicultural content creators, journalists, public relations executives, social media and advertising agencies, non-profit organizations, government agencies, filmmakers, celebrities and music artists.

What types of sessions and workshops will be included in the agenda?

Silver Street Studios will be transformed into a creative playground featuring a jam-packed creators agenda of in-depth workshops on photography, shooting and editing videos, branding, social media, and much more. In addition to the dedicated creators’ track, Hispanicize Texas will also feature a full slate of sessions devoted to entrepreneurs and cultural themes that touch the fields of marketing, journalism, and leadership. 

 

Are sessions and workshops conducted in English or Spanish?

All main sessions and workshops are conducted in English, however select round-tables or mentoring opportunities will be conducted in both English and Spanish.

REGISTRATION

 

How much does it cost to attend Hispanicize Texas?

Registration rates for an all-access pass range from $35 for a Creative Industry Pass (verified creator, blogger, social media influencer, filmmaker, musician or artists) to $145 for a Corporate/Business Pass (marketing, PR, a corporation, works for a brand or an agency, realtors, record label executive, concert promoter).

 

Your Hispanicize registration pass provides you a light breakfast, access to all on and off site sessions, workshops, brand activations, and a stylish gift bag filled with items from some of your favorite brands. 

 

Do I have to have a registration pass to attend all events?

Yes, for security purposes, all event attendees MUST wear their badge for entrance into Hispanicize Texas and any off-site events.

GENERAL ATTENDEE QUESTIONS

 

Is there an official event hotel? What hotels do you recommend?

There is no official event hotel for Hispanicize Texas, but there are several hotel options near the event venue including: Best Western Plus Downtown Inn & Suites (2.7 miles from venue), and others that you can view HERE.

 

Is parking available at Silver Street Studios?

Yes, free parking will be available at the Silver Street Studios complex.

 

What should I wear for Hispanicize Texas?

There is no formal dress code, but most of our attendees dress stylishly comfortable and professional. This means that yes you can wear jeans, but you may want to dress them up with a nice blazer and accessories. 

 

Can I distribute materials/product from a brand that I’m working with if they are not a sponsor? 

No. Out of respect to our sponsors who have helped to make Hispanicize Texas possible through their financial support, we ask that attendees please refrain from distributing or socially promoting non-sponsor materials/products to attendees.
